The Orientation & Guidance Service advises and guides users on how to use the library, its resources, and research tools. It also manages the document loan system for all beneficiaries using the automated PMB system.
This service orients and advises students on the procedures for using the library and trains them on the techniques and tools for searching the library's online catalogue.
This service is also responsible for lending documents requested by beneficiaries (professors, researchers and students) and recovering them using the automated PMB loan system in accordance with the library's internal regulations, as follows:
It offers its services to approximately 40,000 students and teachers of Ferhat Abbas University Sétif 1.
User Orientation & GuidanceAdvising and guiding students and researchers on how to effectively use the library's resources, spaces, and online catalogue search tools.
Document Loan ManagementManaging the loan and return of all documents requested by students, post-graduates, and teaching staff using the automated PMB system.
User Registration & MembershipRegistering new members, verifying required documents, and issuing library cards to all eligible users of the university community.
SNDL Access & TrainingProviding access to the SNDL (National Scientific and Technical Documentation System) and training users on how to search and access digital scientific resources.
Loan Renewal & Follow-upProcessing loan renewals, managing overdue returns, and ensuring compliance with the library's internal lending regulations.
The home loan service is organized according to user category. All loans are managed through the automated PMB system.

Work certificate + SNDL registration form. Full access to all resources including journals, theses, and full-text databases.
